ROAD CLOSURE
The Illinois State Highway Authority (ISTHA) will be closing the Northeast Frontage Road between Upton and Janes Avenue from December 4th, 2006 through April 2007. ISTHA needs to construct a noise wall, which is only 6 to 10 feet off the edge of the pavement, and cannot safely be built with the road open.
Detour Route:
Upton Road to Briarcliff Road to Pinecrest Road to Rockhurst Road and then back to Janes Avenue.
